Escape from Memory Book Review

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

A great book does not start with the first chapter but the title. The words Escape from Memory not only draw in the reader but introduce this idea of what the truth truly is and if denying our personal truths for what the world must be exposed to is worth it. Our protagonist, Kira, has the power to change the entire projection of the story simply with her personality. She helps the reader consider their own heritage and personal truths as she questions her own. The majority of the characters, big and small, reach their full potential in the story, which is pretty unique for the written world. The plot gains momentum the moment the story begins and continues to pick up speed. A little under half a dozen plot twists occur as Escape from Memory’s world crashes, leaving the characters to pick up the pieces. Altogether, the book both excites the reader and makes them think in a foreign way.

Recommended for anyone who wants to read (in my personal opinion) one of the best books written by an author who refuses to disappoint.
